Ideas for project

Every time we have a training, I think THAT is what I am going to do for my project. I would love to do a Kagan project, but I'm not sure how to chart data for it. I don't send kids to the office, so referrals wouldn't work. I will have one kiddo that has behavior issues, but I'm not sure how to compare data with one student.

I've also thought about showing growth through 6+ Traits. That should be easier to gather data, since there are pre and post assessments.

Any ideas?! Oh, the choices... (sigh). ;0)

Highlighters!

I love the highlighters and my mind is floating with ideas on using them! Anyone care to share your ideas on how you plan on using them in the classroom?

Connection to KUD

One of the many connections I have made with the latest training has been the activity with John Antonetti in which we listed big ideas. It really helped me with the U in KUD. I had been looking at the GLE's for my grade level and couldn't get past the verbs (identify, list, describe, compute, etc.). Those big ideas gave me a vocabulary to look for as I plan for understanding next year.
